³⁸ And He was in the stern on the cushion, sleeping. And they wake Him and say to Him, “Teacher, do You not care^[a] that we are perishing?” ³⁹ And having awakened, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea “Be still, be silenced^[b]”. And the wind stopped. And there was a great calm. ⁴⁰ And He said to them, “Why are you afraid^[c]? Do you not yet have faith?”
